Dear friends at Limau Estate,
The East Coast GRC is organising an event on 8 January 2012 Sunday, 8am to 1pm called
EAST COAST MILE 2012.
This is a community bonding activity, and we will like to encourage residents of our LIMAU ESTATE to join in the event.
The event will be held at ITE COLLEGE EAST, 10 Simei Avenue BUT all Siglap participants including
Limau Estate participants should start the event at Siglap Community Centre at 8am by doing either
Brisk Walking OR
Running OR
Cycling to ITE College East.
Our Adviser Dr Maliki will be accompanying the Brisk Walkers from Siglap CC to ITE College East.
During the brisk walk, participants can make friends with each other.
At the ITE College East, there will be a Fun Carnival with Games Stalls, Performances, Sandwich Making Competition, How to build a Terrarium in a glass bottle, Demonstration on how to make a scrapebook, sale of food and drinks, etc and also
the Formation of East Coast Community Wall with painted wall tiles.
Each wall tile ticket will costs $5.
All proceeds received from the sale of the wall tiles will be donated to CHARITY.
Admission ticket to the event costs only $2 per person and you'll get a goodie bag, a scarf and 8 game tokens to play at the carnival.
More importantly, this is a good opportunity to get to know the residents of Siglap and also the bigger East Coast GRC as we attempt to build a stronger and more cohesive community.
We will like to invite you, your family, your neighbours and their family to be part of this very meaningful event.
Tickets are available now. Please SMS Geok Eng HP 97492518 indicating your name, address and
number of tickets and Geok Eng will deliver the tickets to your doorsteps.
If there are about 40 participants coming from your street and neighbouring streets, we can arrange for a bus to ferry them from Limau Estate to Siglap Community Centre.
We look forward to your SMS informing the number of tickets you want to buy.
