Food Fiesta @ Kew Avenue Playground

HELLO RESIDENTS!

The Food Fiesta @ Kew Avenue was succesfully concluded more than a month ago, on 13 March 2010. It was an all-encompasssing event filled with dance, song and food! With displays exhibited by the Singapore Police Force, the Civil Defence Forces and the NParks, residents had plenty to view and information to gain. In addition, photos of residents' gardens participating in in the Best Garden Award (Limau Estate) 2010 were on display.

At the same time, residents dine to a series of performance, including line dancing from the Siglap South WEC and hiphop dancing from students of Bedok South Secondary School.

The awardees of the Best Garden Awards:

Residents were treated to a serenade of classic and pop songs in various languages by the wonderful on-site DJ. This includes a special guest performance by Mr Abdullah Tarmugi!

In the meantime, we'll look forward to the next limau estate event! :)

RSAF Flying Activities on 1st and 2nd May 2010

Did you know: The SAF will be participating in a Five Power Defence Exercise, Exercise Bersama Shield 10, alongside Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom from 26 April to 7 May 2010.

Please note that there will be no night flying during this period. However, there will be a weekend flying on Sat, 1 May 10 and Sun, 2 May 10.

The aircraft may fly over the residential estates in the eastern region of Singapore as part of this exercise and there should not be any cause for alarm.

Our Limau Estate NC residents are probably used to planes flying to and from the Changi Airport, but in case you see some fighter jets / military aircraft, at least you'll know there's no need to worry!
