The Community in Bloom project is set up by the National Parks Board to encourage collective gardening activities and to beautify the community space with flowers, scrubs and landscape gardens.
Roadside gardens can be set up in front of your homes and we have been working closely with the National Parks to make this a reality. The project in our estate first started along Kew Avenue and will now be extended to the whole Limau Estate. It will be implemented on a road by road basis.
If you would like to participate, please do let us know and the following will be done for you.
1. Mark planter beds, replace the soil within these beds with good fertile soil
2.Dig out and remove all your unwanted plants.
National Parks can also advise you on the type of plants to buy and the do's and dont's at a meeting we will arrange once we know how many people are interested.
